Diplomats / Officials / International Organization Representatives and their family members

Persons on diplomatic or consular missions or under International organizations, or representatives of foreign governments or agencies performing their duties in Thailand, or any other persons in international agencies, that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gives permission pertaining to necessity, including their spouse, parents, or children.  

The applicant who does not have a valid visa or re-entry permit must apply for a visa by: 
1) complete the Online e-Visa Application “Click here”; and
2) upload the following documents in PDF format :  

1.  Official Note
     An official Note issued by the Department of State or International Organization.
     An official note from DOS is applicable during this time.     

2.  Insurance
     A letter from the Embassy or IO affirming a responsible for healthcare or
    medical treatment expenses including COVID-19.

3.  Other required documents – Other documents that the applicant submitted through an online application.
     3.1  Diplomatic passport and one copy of your passport with validity not less than 6 months.
     3.2  Two passport-size photographs (2″x2″) (photocopy or photo taken from Photostat will not be accepted).
            Photographs must have a light color background with a full- face view of the person without wearing a hat or
            dark glasses and covering up shoulders. Photos must be taken within 6 months.
     3.3  For a non-US citizen, official letter issued by applicant’s Embassy certifying the identity of the person concerned
            and his/her purposes while residing in the Kingdom.
     3.4  For UN Laissez Passer and non-US citizen , a copy of US visa or resident permit card.
