On 17 November 2022, Consul-General Tor Saralamba, together with his wife, Sirigamon Saralamba, attended the Loy Kratong Festival, organized by Thai Students Association (ThaiSA) of UCLA and Department of Ethnomusicology, UCLA.

 

In this occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Los Angeles joined the ThaiSA by providing Kratong demonstration station and Thai snacks for more than 100 participants including students, teachers, and researchers from UCLA community. The participants were able to enjoy and learn Thai culture in many aspects through various fun activities created by the ThaiSA such as Origami Kratong demonstration, Thai music ensemble by UCLA Department of Ethnomusicology, fun games using Thai language, angklung orchestra, and Loy Kratong Dance.
