On 23 March 2023, Consul-General Tor Saralamba welcomed Khun Bui Porntip Simon, Founder and President of Angels Wings Foundation, at the Thai Consulate-General, Los Angeles, to discuss on the Angels Wings Thai Scholarship Initiative 2023 for the Thai-American youths residing in the United States. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior and be entering an accredited college, university or trade school in the coming academic year.

 

In this occasion, Consul-General Tor and Khun Bui also exchanged views on how to support constructive activities for Thai youths in the US in order to promote close ties and bonds between them and Thailand so as to be proud of their Thai heritage and culture.
