On August 10th, 2025, Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand to Los Angeles, presided over a merit-making ceremony, a floral tribute and offering alms at Wat Suddhavasa in Riverside to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Thailand on 12 August 2025. Consul-General led the Heads of the Officials of Team Thailand agencies in Los Angeles, their spouses, the Royal Thai Consulate-General’s officials and staff together with the Thai community in offering well-wishes for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and expressing with deepest respect and heartfelt gratitude for Her Majesty’s contributions and unwavering dedication to the nation. After the ceremony, Wat Suddhavasa together with the Thai community hosted the Thai Mother’s Day Celebration, showing appreciation and recognition for the mothers’ role in children’s lives with Thai dance performances from the students of Wat Suddhavasa.

On the same day, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Los Angeles organized a volunteer activity on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary on August 12, 2025. Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand to Los Angeles led the Royal Thai Consulate-General’s officials and staff to provide lunch boxes and drinks to the Thai community who had joined the ceremony at Wat Suddhavasa. The volunteer activity aims to dedicate the merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother for this special occasion.
