On 11 August 2025, Consul-General Tor Saralamba presided over the opening ceremony of “Nuad Thai Battle Championship 2025” held at the Friendship Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. There were over 100 people in attendance at the event, comprising 17 competitors from all parts of the United States such as California, Florida, and Virginia, 11 judges who are Thai massage specialists, and many spectators from the Thai and local communities. The Nuad Thai Battle Championship highlights Nuad Thai or Thai Massage and its many health benefits, and serves as a platform for Nuad Thai practitioners in the United States to demonstrate their skills, techniques, and expertise. This event also showcases Nuad Thai and its truly valuable artform, which is an important part of Thai culture and heritage.

This year’s Nuad Thai Battle Championship event was presented in an exciting knock out format, and Consul-General Tor and Mr. Ahmos Netanel, CEO of the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) awarded prizes to the winners and certificates to all participants. The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Los Angeles would like to thank all participants for joining the event, and congratulate all the winners of the Nuad Thai Battle Championship 2025.
